Job Description
Summary
This position is responsible for reviewing, processing, and reporting on fixed asset activity for assigned areas of the Company to include administration of capital expenditure requests (CERs), maintenance of detailed fixed asset records, and compliance with Company policies and procedures. Strong analytical abilities with advanced MS Excel skills 0 - 2 years of experience preferred.
Must Haves
- Data Entry experience
- Strong Excel Knowledge- specifically with Vlookups
- Ariba experience
- Accounting experience
- SAP strongly preferred.
- Properly record fixed asset acquisitions, transfers and dispositions in the accounting system including detailed review and understanding of submitted CERs and frequent consultation with project owners across assigned areas of the Company to ensure that all capital expenditures follow the company's fixed asset policies.
- Ensure proper assignment of in-service date, depreciable life, cost center, and description for all capitalized assets.
- 3.This resource will be exporting reports from AP, putting these reports in a spreadsheet, and creating assets. From there, they will be working supplements, grabbing data from Ariba, and putting data into a spreadsheet and entering it into SAP. This resource will be responsible for a lot of manual work, from exporting data into another report/system.
