Financial Systems Analyst
Job Description
Partner with key stakeholders to deliver the company’s strategic systems roadmap. Perform system administration and analytical duties for the company’s Hyperion/EPBCS planning system. Perform user maintenance, oversee daily and monthly data maintenance tasks, and field user requests and issues. Drive continued improvement of the Hyperion/EPBCS system to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts complex system maintenance such as adding/updating dimension members, creating/maintaining web forms, performing data loads, and maintaining inter-company relationships. Performs and validates system testing required for new releases.
- Writes basic logic or code within source systems.
- Works closely with business units to ensure timely submission of data, integrity of data, and to provide training and support for system users as needed.
- Update, implement and maintain procedures; including training manuals for users
- Responsible for Oracle Relationship Management; including working on issues, resolutions, and service tickets
- Oversee automated processes and maintain/update automations as needed
- Drive the evolution of the company’s data model and maintain system data dimension structures and reporting hierarchies
- Ability to understand Oracle out of the box workforce planning application
- Drive monthly Workforce planning tasks
- Document, understand, and prioritize user requested system enhancements
- Perform application maintenance
- Execute metadata updates and manage sub cube data flow within EPBCS
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or IT or equivilent work experience
- Attention to detail, and methodical approach to updating system elements within a production environment
- Experience with Workforce Planning framework within EPBCS (employee and job model experience desired)
- Able to articulate the architecture and data flow of the 3 cube workforce architecture
- Able to indenting when and why to run certain workforce mass calculations (I.e Synchronize Defaults, Process Loaded Data, etc)
- Understanding of Compensation and Headcount Planning/Forecasting processes
- knowledge of operational finance payroll processes and calculations desired
- Minimum 4 years of exposure to EssBase/Hyperion/EPBCS
- Knowledge of fundamental Accounting/Finance concepts: including monthly close activities, forecasting, budgeting cycles and corporate reporting requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global workforce
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Motivated, self-starter, detail oriented, and ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrable problem solving and strong analytical skills
