Job Description
Our client, a retail chain of home improvement and agriculture stores, is seeking a Security Camera Engineer for a 7+ month contract position in Brentwood, TN. This role is hybrid with 3 days per week in office.
Day to Day:
Some responsibilities will include:
Pay Rate- $75.86- $78.57
Day to Day:
Some responsibilities will include:
- Validating that cameras are set up correctly
- Signing off on stores that cameras are properly set up
- Make business recommendations on what type of team they will need to install cameras, how to structure it, type of support team needed, etc.
- Setting up SLA's
- Help create a monitoring system for cameras. If something is wrong with the cameras, the team knowing and being able to fix it in real time
- Mentoring a team of interns throughout the year
- These interns are currently responsible for looking at cameras fees to see what is good and bad for the business, if it is accurate with the vision, etc.
- Assist with 2025 strategic planning. How they can refresh what they are currently using, updating cameras, etc.
- Build a partnership with other vendor partners they currently work with
- Able to travel from store to store locally around the Nashville area, as well as some light travel to stores in different states
- Strategize with the business on what cameras they should be using, how to make it work, etc.
- 5+ years of experience in Network or Security Engineer role
- Experience leading a team
- Strong camera knowledge
- Someone who is excited about new technology
- Able to provide an example of a use case in their career
- Retail Experience
- Experience coming from Amazon and working with Amazon Go Cameras
- Machine Learning Experience
Pay Rate- $75.86- $78.57
