Director, People Success
Job Description
The work schedule is 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week. Hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Occasional weekends and after hours generally for events.
Summary
The Director, People Success, works closely with the Human Resources Department on daily functions including hiring, interviewing, onboarding, training and development and administration of company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
Recruitment Hiring (15%)
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and works closely with HR to fill open positions.
Onboarding (15%)
Creates and facilities onboarding process for new employees to ensure a welcoming introduction that imparts important organizational information, setting the new employee up for success.
Training and Development (30%)
- Uses employee development plans to facilitate internal promotions and advancement, helping employees to prepare themselves for new opportunities.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents training to ensure that employees are aware and benefiting from training opportunities.
Culture and Climate (30%)
- Regularly assess the work climate of the organization and works closely with management to achieve the goals of the institution through its people.
- Works closely with and keeps Human Resources apprised on matters of compensation, discipline, disputes and investigations.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring benefits related, complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or equivalent experience directly in the field.
- At least 5 years of human resource management experience preferred.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Salary: $100,000-105,000k/yr. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
