Operations Associate:
Recruiting and staffing of this is being handled by Corps Team on behalf of our client. This is direct hire full time, hybrid position with a full benefits package and an excellent work-life balance. Candidates must be based in the Northern Virginia area and able to work in the office in Herndon, VA two days per week.
We are seeking a driven and energetic team member with at least 3 years of finance and office operations experience who seeks a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and entry into the agile consulting profession.
The Finance and Administration Coordinator will jump into a fast-paced position with a diverse range of responsibilities that include:
Finance Coordination
- Prepare, review and send invoices for clients, manage collections and resolve any billing issues
- Coordinate with bookkeeper and management team to ensure efficient financial monitoring and reporting
- Coordinate with bookkeeper and management team to ensure up to date procedures for handling finances and accounting
- Review accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Proactively manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Act as primary liaison/coordinator with external entities such as bookkeeping company, CPA firm and tax authorities, etc
- Monitor the performance of the financial assets and provide monthly reports on finance projections
- Coordinate with CPA firm to ensure tax reporting obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner
Benefits Coordination
- Support the leadership team in relation to recruitment processes and human resources matters
- Develop and manage human resources procedures in line with State of VA legal requirements
- Ensure streamlined, digital time and travel expense reporting
- Coordinate and review payroll processing with bookkeeper
- Monitor 401(k) and Cash Balance, and manage relationships with TPA and investment firm
- Manage Health insurance and COBRA processing and reporting
- Support management team with performance feedback delivery processes and actions
Operations Coordination
- Customer service – answer phones and email questions related to training events
- Virtual training support – act as a technical co-host to support our online training events
- Customer relationship support – work as a team to connect with customers and ensure customer satisfaction
- Office operations – As a key holder, support all aspects of office operations
- Other: Operational tasks to support our team as requested

- Strong decision-making and analytical abilities
- Strong technical skills are a huge plus – proficiency with the Microsoft Office and Google suites, as well as collaboration tools like Zoom, etc.
- Proven expertise in Excel and financial systems
- Above average proficiency and experience with financial and reporting apps such as Zenefits, Bill.com, Tsheets, and Expensify
