Job Description

Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking an Accountant for a 5+ month contract opportunity located in Tewksbury, MA.

Job Overview
This role is fully on-site and highly interactive, requiring daily access to the factory to participate in meetings, present performance data, and support the management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the manager with data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or provide recommendations.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards.
  • Help with the reporting for fixed assets.
  • Prepare adjusting journal entries, ensuring alignment with reporting procedures and accuracy.
  • Conduct reconciliation, data entry, and cost analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Must have SAP experience.
  • Strong understanding of cost analysis, reconciliation, and journal entries.
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment with forklifts (no vehicle operation required).
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toe boots is mandatory.
Pay Rate- $38.92/ hour
