Job Description
This role is based in based in Midtown Atlanta, so candidates must be local. A hybrid work schedule is offered.
Role Overview: As the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, you will be essential in building a high-value brand, leading the development of our marketing strategy and helping us launch cutting-edge new products.
How You'll Make a Difference: You will be vital to the short- and long-term health of the business, adeptly telling the company’s story across traditional and digital channels. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the steward of the brand, helping to shape and communicate the vision, as well as translate the brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies that increase awareness and protect the company’s strong reputation. You will deeply understand the behavior of the target audience(s) and act as their advocate.
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the evolution of  brand strategy and positioning—ensuring consistent branding across all touchpoints, staying on top of consumer trends and competitor activity, extending external media presence, and owning the brand narrative.

Key Responsibilities:Â
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the company to enhance the company's market position and achieve business goals.
- Work closely with the marketing and leadership team to implement projects and ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
- Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, traditional, and social media.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting marketing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and overall business objectives.
- Drive brand consistency and cohesiveness across all marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Manage marketing budgets and resources efficiently.
Required Education and Experience:Â Â Â
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally as a CMO or Senior Vice President of Marketing with more than 10 years.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that resulted in business growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with the latest marketing technologies and trends.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the changing demographics in the USA and Internationally.

Base Salary $200-$300 plus equity component. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
