Our client, a diversified financial services company providing banking and investing services, is seeking a Commercial Bank Ops Manager for a 6+ month contract role located in Parsippany, NJ, Jacksonville, FL, or Charlotte, NC. This role is hybrid.

Commercial Bank Ops Manager The Commercial Bank Operations Manager Senior job leads all facets of loan processing including origination, processing, and closing. While influencing others outside of their responsibilities regarding policies, practices and procedures, this job identifies and resolves issues related to the processing and management of loan applications and ensures compliance with bank and state policies, laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Implements short-term policies and operational strategy of the middle and back office of commercial banking to ensure efficiency and compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Recommends workflow improvements, including establishing quality assurance standards, expediting problem resolution, and maintaining production throughput.
  • Collaborates with other departments, such as branch banking to identify the business opportunities and improvements of bank commercial operation.
  • Audits commercial operation documentation and materials regularly to ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations.
  • Oversees compliance with corporate and regulatory procedures by monitoring operational processes.

Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred

Experience
  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Additional Job Description:
This role is located on the Commercial Operations team and will support the Vendor Equipment Finance business in the healthcare, industrial & capital markets segments. This person will act as the quarterback and work closely with originations, legal and other internal business partners. Responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and reviewing direct and indirect Lease and loan transactions including Master Assignment Agreements, Master Lease Agreements, schedules, amendments and associated documents.
  • Building/leading the internal contract collaboration workflow process.
  • Reviewing commercial documentation to ensure compliance with banking polices and regulations.
  • Ensuring that all approved documents are properly maintained in the new document storage system of record.
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to team as appropriate.
  • Participating in various projects as required, adhering to established timelines

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of equipment finance and/or leasing experience
  • Good communication skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong knowledge of UCCs and Inventory Perfection
  • Capital markets experience
  • Rental suite finance experience
  • Floorplan finance experience
  • Paralegal certification

Pay Rate- $35.04 - $37.04/hour
