Job Description

Our client, a design-build construction firm, is looking for a Construction Superintendent for a direct hire role located in Erlanger, KY. This works a blend of in-office and remote, plus some travel as needed to tri-state area job sites. 

Job Summary
The Superintendent, along with the Project Manager, is responsible for the success of the project from inception to final close-out. This includes all aspects of the project including the control of the design, cost, schedule and quality.

The Superintendent will manage, direct, and coordinate a wide variety of construction projects, including the building of all types of industrial, commercial, retail and office structures throughout the tri-state region.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall on-site project coordination and ensuring that all subcontractors and suppliers comply and perform in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Manage quality control of the project, along with all drawings/specifications.
  • Responsible for ensuring all testing/inspections by consulting engineers or owner’s representatives are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee project safety and housekeeping for all employees as well as subcontractors.
  • Managing project communication and on-site project coordination.
  • Responsible for coordinating shop drawings with all on site production.
  • Completion of daily field reports and managing all field documentation is paramount.
  • Act as a goodwill ambassador for the company and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Travel may be required within a 5-hour radius of the home office.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Experience with ProCore and/or Microsoft Project is helpful, not required.

Salary is $90,000-105,000. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc. Strong benefits package offered.
