Corporate Relations Manager
Job Description
The Corporate Relations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing engagement and fundraising strategies to enhance and grow corporate contributed revenue from current and prospective donors. The Corporate Relations Manager also provides comprehensive support to the Corporate Advancement team via effective information management and reporting, events, written correspondence, and solicitation efforts. The Corporate Relations Manager will ensure organization, cohesion, and collaboration across the organization and it’s partners.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and maintain key fundraising materials such as proposals, grant language, and solicitation letters
- Work collaboratively on cross-campus funding opportunities and multi-faceted proposals
- Maintain and create reports, donor lists, prospect lists, asset lists, and cross campus sponsorship opportunities with associate benefits
- Maintain centralized campus-wide corporate fundraising calendar of departmental deadlines
- Draft donor correspondence on behalf of Relationship Managers, Vice President of Advancement and President & CEO
- Develop and administer departmental donor communications pieces such as monthly corporate donor newsletter
- Manage acknowledgement letter process
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of donor activities
- Manage comprehensive stewardship strategy for centralized corporate accounts
- Manage both internally and externally the approval of credit lines, logos and donor listings
- Attend internal and external meetings, special events, and community events as required
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years of experience in administration, donor relations, or grant writing in a fundraising environment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Self-motivated, proactive and forward-thinking
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in InDesign, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
- High level knowledge of CRM systems, preferably in a fundraising environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders, including high level donors
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and in a fast-paced team environment
- Must possess a high level of discretion and diplomacy
Base Salary $65,000-$75,000. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
