Job Description
Responsibilities of this position include:
A list of objectives include:
- The security of our cloud servers and all hardware
- Setting and managing security policies related to third-party services (e.g. our G-Suite services)
- Setting and monitoring good team practices related to security
- Working with a contractor (Stack Armor) to stand up and manage government cloud services
- Monitoring potential vulnerabilities/patches related to open-source software
- Managing responses to security reviews
- Ensuring the security of our API services
- Contributing security considerations to the design of our products
- Pursue security-related certifications
- Working with our advisors to commission red-team attacks upon our systems and products
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, cybersecurity, or another related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity or related field, professional services preferred
- Certifications CISSP, CISM, CEH or other relevant cybersecurity certifications
- Excellent technical writing skills and risk management control knowledge
- Experience with developing remediation plans and strategies
- Ability to prepare both technical and executive-level deliverables
- Highly motivated individual able to grasp complex topics and learn quickly
- Ability to communicate complex situations clearly
- Creative, critical thinker who can take initiative and make suggestions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and manage multiple priorities at any given time
