Our client, a retail chain of home improvement and agriculture stores, is seeking a DOT Compliance Coordinator for a 6+ month contract position in Brentwood, TN. 

Position Type: Contract
Duration: 6+ Months with potential for extension and/or conversion to direct employment
Location: Brentwood, TN
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite in office
Hourly Pay Rate Range: $36.00-37.88/hr

Growing organization focused on delivering products efficiently while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. Seeking a detail-oriented DOT Compliance Coordinator to support driver compliance program as it expands.

Role Overview:
The DOT Compliance Coordinator will ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for company-operated vehicles. This highly administrative role involves verifying driver documentation, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure all compliance requirements are met. The role offers potential growth as the program scales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and maintain DOT compliance records, including:
  • Motor vehicle records
  • DOT applications
  • Physical/medical cards
  • Other required documentation
  • Utilize multiple third-party systems to process and track compliance information.
  • Conduct manual verification to ensure all compliance requirements are accurately met.
  • Work cross-functionally with HR, recruiting, and territory managers to resolve documentation gaps.
  • Aggregate data across systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with monitoring telematics and driver behavior compliance as program expands.
  • Support additional compliance-related initiatives as assigned. Qualifications:
    • Experience with DOT compliance programs required.
    • Proficient in working with Microsoft Office, especially Power Point & Excel
    • Comfortable working with multiple systems and managing large datasets.
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
    • Industry experience in logistics, retail, construction, or manufacturing is a plus, but DOT experience is the primary requirement.
    • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and attention to detail are critical.

    Pay Rate- $36.55- $37.88/hour
