Job Description

Our client, a payment solutions company, is seeking a Data Center Facilities Infrastructure Specialist for a 6+ month contract role. This role is onsite in Tempe, AZ.

Job Description:
The DCFIS shall generally meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:
  • A clear understanding of industry best installation practices related to fiber/copper structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and  documentation
  • Knowledge of hardware components regarding network, storage, security and carrier circuit equipment
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience working in a data center, NOC or similar critical systems environments
  • The ability to monitor and control daily service ticket activity, prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with managing information in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Excel, Outlook, Visio, Google Sheets, Chat, Docs, etc.)
  • Above average communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge and experience with critical facilities systems/topology (Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, and Controls)
  • The ability to work completely independently, while at times delegating task to other individuals

Pay Rate $47.67 - $49.66 per hour
