Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Be able to tell a coherent/compelling story with data when presenting to clients
- Extract and manipulate data from web analytics data sources (Google Analytics and Mixpanel) with minimal oversight
- Handle sensitive data and details in line with established protocols
- Design and implement data-driven measurement strategies to support business objectives
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of initiatives
- Maintain/update existing Looker Studio Dashboards and create new ones according to existing templates
- Create ad-hoc reports to explain data trends and provide insight into performance
- Populate slide templates with visualizations/data from the dashboards and layer in context/insights
- Review datasets regularly for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed
- Communicate with clients and development teams
- Take meeting notes and write succinct summaries to share internally and with clients
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as digital/marketing/website analyst
- Deep understanding of Google Analytics setup and how data is processed - both the prior Universal Analytics version and the current Google Analytics 4 version
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with building dashboards in Looker Studio
- Ability to use debugging tools to examine/QA events being fired to the Data Layer
- Strong skills in Powerpoint and Google Slides
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Mixpanel
- Knowledge of basic to intermediate SQL concepts
- Some hands-on expertise with building/optimizing queries in BigQuery
- Some experience running A/B tests and reporting on their results
Base Salary range $80,000-$90,000. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of education, experience, and skills.
