Document Control Specialist
Job Description
Position Summary
Seeking a motivated, organized individual to assist with document control tasks, including organizing, naming, and transmitting engineering documents. You'll use software to meet customer documentation needs and handle requests for transmittal and communication. Reporting to the Document Control Supervisor, you'll collaborate closely with the project team, so strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Candid and timely communication
- Intermediate proficient in Microsoft Office—Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
- Some experience in SharePoint development, creating job aids, and Power Bi
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Professional communication skills—emails, phone calls, IMs
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Ability to regularly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Preferences
- Experience with Synergis Adept
- Experience using SAP
- Experience with Vault Pro
Core Responsibilities and Tasks
- Transmit project documents and official communications to and from customers
- Keep records of official communications to and from customers
- Organize and maintain project documents electronically
- Track completion and status of documents
- Communicate with project team members and customers
- Implement document naming system
- Review documents and computer data closely for errors in titles, revision
- numbers, dates, and formatting
- Upload and edit documents using relevant computer programs
Pay Rate- $26.50/hourÂ
