Summary
Covers operations and related activities. Provides operational support to the asset management business and/or products. Specializes in ensuring proper trading and balancing of wrap accounts and/or separately managed institutional accounts. Manages accounts in compliance with model portfolios from portfolio managers and performs account re-balancing (with asset allocation staff and portfolio managers).
Your Team
The ETF Portfolio Management Analyst Team is a services team which implements index-based equity and commodity products in conjunction with ETF Portfolio Managers. Team members generally handle dozens of funds consisting of various index strategies and regions to ensure shareholder expectations are met effectively and efficiently. Covering portfolios entails generating trade instructions to follow established investment guidelines. This team is highly collaborative with internal investment, trading, technology, and operations teams to fulfill its mandates.
Your Role
The ETF Portfolio Management Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily management, implementation, and execution of index-based portfolios. The position will utilize various reporting tools and systems to ensure portfolios effectively track associated indices and meet client needs. The candidate will be responsible for using a systematic approach to data, technology, and processes to ensure portfolios can be implemented efficiently with a high level of accuracy. The position is a team-based role and as such the candidate will be required to perform other duties which may not be directly related to index tracking or portfolio management. The Analyst will leverage technical skills to deliver high quality work and asks for assistance when needed. The role will work closely with Portfolio Management, ETF Operations, Trading, and other various groups within Invesco as well as at external partners.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Rebalancing portfolios as required to ensure they track associated indices.
- Daily monitoring of funds and indices to ensure execution of scheduled and non-scheduled events such as custom order activity, corporate actions, cash management and rebalances.
- Projects related to new product launches, process/financial risk reduction, and technology improvements.
- Supporting inquiries from portfolio managers, capital markets, clients, sales, and other groups.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience related to the financial services industry or similarly equivalent education experience.
- Working knowledge of financial markets, pricing, mutual funds, operations, accounting or exchange traded funds process a plus.
- Basic knowledge of excel, VBA or other related (languages) a plus.
