Job Description
The ETF Portfolio Management Analyst team is a services team which implements index-based equity and commodity products in conjunction with ETF Portfolio Managers. Team members generally handle dozens of funds consisting of various index strategies and regions to ensure shareholder expectations are met effectively and efficiently. Covering portfolios entails generating trade instructions to follow established investment guidelines. This team is highly collaborative with internal Investment, Trading, Technology, and Operations teams to fulfill its mandates.
The ETF Portfolio Management Analyst team covers operations and related activities, provides operational support to the asset management business and/or products, and specializes in ensuring proper trading and balancing of wrap accounts and/or separately managed institutional accounts. You’ll also manage accounts in compliance with model portfolios from portfolio managers and perform account re-balancing (with asset allocation staff and portfolio managers).
The ETF Portfolio Management Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily management, implementation, and execution of index-based portfolios. The position will utilize various reporting tools and systems to ensure portfolios effectively track associated indices and meet client needs. The Analyst will be responsible for using a systematic approach to data, technology, and processes to ensure portfolios can be implemented efficiently with a high level of accuracy. The position is a team-based role and, as such, the candidate will be required to perform other duties which may not be directly related to index tracking or portfolio management. The Analyst will leverage technical skills to deliver high quality work and asks for assistance when needed. The role will work closely with Portfolio Management, ETF Operations, Trading, and other various groups as well as at external partners.
You Will Be Responsible For

- Rebalancing portfolios as required to ensure they track associated indices.
- Daily monitoring of funds and indices to ensure execution of scheduled and non-scheduled events such as custom order activity, corporate actions, cash management and rebalances.
- Projects related to new product launches, process/financial risk reduction, and technology improvements.
- Supporting inquiries from portfolio managers, capital markets, clients, sales, and other groups.
The Experience You Bring

- A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in (or related to) the financial services industry, or similarly equivalent education experience is required.
- Working knowledge of financial markets, pricing, mutual funds, operations, accounting, or exchange traded funds process a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, VBA, or other related languages a plus.
Pay Rate- $26.50 - $28.90/hour Â
