Email Marketing Specialist
Job Description
This role is responsible to help guide and advance the email execution process by focusing on strategy, design, and execution of email marketing. This person will be active in designing and implementing email campaign efforts and supporting company protocol for email compliance.
This position will work closely with (1) Business Team Marketing teams, which act as strategic partners and focus on content and campaign objectives, (2) Email developers (3) Partners and Vendors that may be involved with email strategy and design (4) Occasionally interact with web, paid media, and social marketing.
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist with a passion for crafting compelling content, a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, and a knack for project management. As an integral member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, generate leads, and nurture customer relationships. Your expertise in project management will ensure that campaigns are delivered on time, while your design skills will contribute to creating visually appealing and engaging email content. Candidate should be passionate about power sports, its customers, and the supporting lifestyle. You thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and have a strong work ethic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and execute HTML emails for single send campaigns and automated programs.
- Plan, manage, and track email marketing campaigns from conception to execution with marketing team collaboration.
- Execute emails by intake of creative brief and turning it into a fully designed email layout optimized for the mobile experience and adhering to brand standards (some copywriting required).
- Advocate for email best practices to maximize deliverability, inbox placement, accessibility, and engagement.
- Segment subscriber lists to ensure targeted messaging and maximize campaign effectiveness to business goals.
- Utilize (and have proficiency in) best practice email design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Xd, Illustrator). Ability to resize images, create animated gifs, design within artboards, etc.
- Self-manage timelines and deliverables based on agreed-upon priorities
- Consistently follow standardized processes for complete end-to-end testing for each email, including display testing and dynamic content (verifying creative / content versioning for different audiences).
- Integrate 1:1 personalization and data-driven dynamic content for segmented audiences, as needed
- 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Web design/Development, or other related areas of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Project Management software like Jira preferred.
- Strong understanding of email marketing principles, including email design, copywriting, and segmentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically for a variety of use cases.
