Events Manager
Job Description
Hybrid work arrangement with travel.
The Events Management role coordinates and administers multiple media communications programs to promote product and organizational presence in marketplaces consistent with organizational objectives. Working independently under limited supervision, this job ensures activities and events are on brand and strategically valuable to the organization. Plan end to end high-end events for wealth management clients focused content and topics that are relevant for that population. Work closely with Advisors, Events Management team, Field Marketing.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Plans events by identifying/negotiating price for event space, determining event agendas, coordinating event marketing, etc.
- Evaluates advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public relations efforts and develops reports for senior management.
- Observes social, economic, and political trends that might have an effect on the organization, and makes recommendations to enhance the organization's image based on those trends.
- Works with advertising agencies to create a variety of publicity methods.
- Obtains relevant information from clients, such as product and organizational details, budget and marketing goals.
- Sets up exhibition space and displays promotional materials (e.g. brochures, product samples/demonstrations, coupons, branded merchandise, etc.).
- Reviews program budgets and measures lead generation resulting from events.
- Coordinates event catering, entertainment and company speakers/representation at booths and demonstrations.
- Travel to support approximately 1–2 client events per month, including pre-event site walkthroughs, onsite event execution, and post-event wrap-up activities. Typical travel duration is 2–3 days per event.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of end-to-end event planning and execution experience required; 5+ years preferred
- Prior experience in wealth management, asset management, banking, or financial services preferred
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to think on your feet and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Cvent preferred
- Required: Overnight travel 1–2 times per month to support events, with each event requiring approximately 2–3 days of travel
Pay Rate- $53.29- $55.29/ hour
