HR Coordinator
Job Description
Provides support in all functional areas of Human Resources and HR Director with general reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual basis. Also provides support to Talent Acquisition area with the administrative tasks during the onboarding process of new hires/conversions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run the necessary reports in UKG and Kronos systems to process daily and weekly reports:
- Daily attendance and staffing adherence report for staff meeting
- Weekly headcount
- Weekly absenteeism
- Weekly corrective actions report
- Weekly report on team members with more +8 points
- Weekly reports for Plant Management (headcount, absenteeism, and turnover)
- Run the necessary reports in UKG and Kronos systems to process monthly reports:
- Monthly headcount
- Monthly average hourly pay rate for Finance
- Monthly absenteeism and turnover
- Monthly temporary turnover update for NA dashboard.
- Monthly update of Corporate HR dashboard, BPD and Governance meeting presentations for HR Director.
- Send text for exit interviews on voluntary terminations every week.
- Work with staffing agencies on work references for re-hire eligibility.
- Weekly check on shift change request QR code submissions, verify attendance and disciplinary records and provide information to HR Manager.
- Support local Talent Acquisition team with the following activities for new hires and temps’ conversions:
- Launch all new hires/conversions for the following week.
- Send onboarding instructions to all new direct hires/conversions.
- Check status on paperwork completion before cut-off.
- Welcome plant e-mail for new hires/conversions.
- Help new hires/conversions to complete paperwork.
- Upload I9’s for new hires/conversions.
- Process new hires/conversions in UKG.
- Create employee file folders for new hires/conversions with hiring documents completing check list.
- Acts as back-up to payroll function at the site.
- Supports the HR department to cover window service when other team members are out of the office.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and/or associate degree.
- Two years of work experience in Human Resources area.
- Strong computer skills utilizing HRIS systems, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint software.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
- Ability to interface effectively with both hourly and salaried employees using strong customer service skills.
- Ability to think and act independently while delivering world class results.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources.
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Benefits administration and payroll experience and/or knowledge desirable.
- Ultipro and/or Kronos HRIS experience.
- Continuous improvement experience.
