Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing startup in the technology space, is transforming how businesses connect assets, streamline workflows, and make smarter decisions through cutting-edge 3D scanning, IoT integration, and visual asset management. They are seeking a Head of Delivery for a hybrid direct hire opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Job Summary:
Seeking a relentless and visionary Head of Delivery to lead our entire software implementation and professional services function. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly demanding and critical role, ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of every client project from the moment a contract is signed to the full-scale adoption of our platform by end-users.

The ideal candidate is obsessed with delivering tangible value. You are not satisfied until our clients are leveraging our product to its fullest potential, fundamentally changing their internal behaviors and embedding our software across their entire portfolio. You will be the driving force behind a world-class delivery organization, ensuring that we consistently exceed client expectations and set the standard for excellence in our industry.
This role demands a leader who thrives in a high-stakes environment, is energized by complex challenges, and is prepared to navigate the inevitable "fires" with composure and strategic thinking. Late hours and a hands-on approach are expected.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Executive Leadership & Strategy:

    • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing strategic authority and direction for the entire delivery function.
    • Develop and execute a scalable delivery strategy that aligns with our Imaging's growth objectives.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and unwavering commitment to client success.

  • Departmental Oversight & Process Optimization:

    • Directly oversee and mentor the leaders of the Project Management and Resource Management sub-departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and operational efficiency.
    • Be a master of systems and processes. Continuously identify opportunities to create order from chaos, designing, implementing, and refining the systems, tooling, and processes that govern our entire delivery lifecycle.
    • Champion the adoption of new technologies, particularly AI and automation, to drive significant improvements in our delivery function. This includes everything from optimizing contractor scanning routes to enhancing the coordination of professional services.

  • Flawless Project Execution & Delivery:

    • Own the end-to-end delivery process, which includes:
      • Coordinating the 3D scanning of large-scale industrial facilities.
      • Overseeing the asset tagging of extensive and complex asset data.
      • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data through rigorous remediation and verification processes.
      • Collaborating on integration solutioning and program discovery.
      • Executing a seamless handover of projects to the Customer Success team for ongoing retention and expansion.
    • Serve as the ultimate escalation point for all project-related issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and a bias for action.

  • Client & Stakeholder Management:

    • Engage with senior leadership at our client organizations, navigating complex scenarios and building strong, trusted relationships.
    • Act as a key liaison between the delivery team and other internal departments, including Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
    • Provide critical insights to the Sales and Customer Success teams on project progress to maximize opportunities for account expansion.
    • Oversee the creation and coordination of all necessary project documentation.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A Systems & Process Fanatic: You have a natural ability to "eat, breathe, and sleep" systems and processes. You don't just manage processes; you are a builder and an optimizer, constantly seeking to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Technically Astute & AI-Savvy: You possess a strong technical acumen and are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems. You have a sophisticated understanding of how to apply AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency, from route optimization to automated resource allocation.
  • An Unwavering Commitment to Value: Your definition of "done" is not the completion of a project, but the moment a client is realizing significant, measurable value from our software.
  • A Battle-Hardened Leader: You are not intimidated by immense responsibility and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. You lead from the front, are comfortable with ambiguity, and have a proven track record of navigating and resolving crises.
  • Exceptional Communication & Influence: You can command a room of executives, articulate complex technical concepts with clarity, and build consensus across diverse teams. You are adept at managing senior client relationships and influencing internal stakeholders.
  • Proven Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in software implementation, professional services, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
    • Demonstrated success in building and scaling a delivery organization in a high-growth technology company.
    • A proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects.
    • Experience in the industrial, manufacturing, or a related sector is a significant plus.
Base Salary $140,000-$160,000. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
