Our client, a rapidly growing startup in the technology space, is transforming how businesses connect assets, streamline workflows, and make smarter decisions through cutting-edge 3D scanning, IoT integration, and visual asset management. They are seeking a Head of Logistics and Resource Management for a direct hire opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Head of Logistics & Resource Management to lead and optimize the operational backbone of our service delivery. This critical role involves managing complex asset tagging initiatives derived from client Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, overseeing large-scale data transformation projects, and directing a distributed network of 1099 contractors to execute fieldwork. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industrial environments, including P&IDs, and have a proven track record in managing multifaceted projects, including software delivery components. This individual will also be responsible for developing and managing training content and ingesting preventative maintenance procedures to support our innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Asset Tagging & Data Management:
    • Lead and manage complex asset tagging initiatives, ensuring accurate translation and integration of data from client EAM systems into the platform.
    • Oversee large-scale data transformation processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely completion.
    • Develop and implement strategies for efficient data capture, processing, and quality control.
  • Contractor Network Management:
    • Recruit, onboard, and manage a national network of 1099 contractors responsible for fieldwork, including 3D scanning, data collection, and asset verification.
    • Develop and maintain performance metrics, quality standards, and communication protocols for the contractor network.
    • Optimize contractor deployment and scheduling to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
  • Content & Process Management:
    • Oversee the development and management of training content for both internal teams and external users, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness in utilizing solutions.
    • Manage the process ingestion of client preventative maintenance procedures and related documentation, integrating them into the platform to enhance our VMMS offerings.
  • Technical & Project Oversight:
    • Utilize understanding of industrial Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to inform asset data structure, training content, and maintenance procedure integration.
    • Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Oversee aspects of software delivery related to data integration, content deployment, and platform configuration for client projects.
  • Logistics & Resource Optimization:
    • Develop and implement logistics strategies for equipment, personnel, and data flow to ensure efficient project execution across various client sites.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve processes for resource allocation, project scheduling, and operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with sales, product development, and client success teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Manage inventory and deployment of necessary hardware and software tools for field operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in logistics, resource management, operations management, or a similar role, preferably within a technology, industrial, or facilities management sector.
  • Proven experience managing complex asset tagging initiatives and large-scale data transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and scale a distributed network of contractors or field technicians.
  • Strong understanding of industrial environments and the ability to interpret P&IDs and other technical documentation.
  • Experience in managing the development and delivery of training content and/or technical documentation.
  • Solid project management skills, with experience managing complex projects from inception to completion, including software delivery aspects.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and evolving startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3D scanning technology, reality capture, or digital twin solutions.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles.
  • Experience working in a SaaS or technology solutions provider.
Base Salary $100,000-$110,000. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
