Our client is a fast-growing, health tech e-commerce startup delivering premium pediatric health and wellness products to parents to help care for their children. They are in an exciting phase of rapid growth and are seeking a Head of Marketing. 

This is a hybrid role in Midtown Atlanta.

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead and execute their marketing initiatives while driving measurable growth. This role combines expertise in digital marketing, website and email optimization, paid advertising, and team leadership with a strong focus on achieving defined objectives and quantifiable results.

As the Head of Marketing, you will oversee a team including a Brand Manager, Paid Ads Specialist, and Content Creator. You’ll be tasked with building a realistic, data-driven marketing plan aligned with company goals and ensuring execution delivers measurable outcomes. This role is essential in creating synergy between marketing spend, achievable ROAS and cost-per-acquisition assumptions, and the company’s growth targets to avoid misalignment and ensure marketing’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Marketing & Paid Advertising Implementation and Improvements
  • Create a cohesive digital marketing strategy that drives profitable topline sales growth while lowering customer acquisition cost implementing the current strategy and identifying new improvements for those channels.  To continually optimize and lower CAC.
  • Develop and execute paid advertising strategies for Meta, Google, and other channels. Use a statistically significant testing methodology to continually optimize ads for the lowest customer acquisition cost.
  • Focus paid ad strategies on both growth and efficiency, ensuring a balance between revenue generation and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the team to align brand messaging, copy, and ad creative to maximize the impact of marketing efforts.

2. Website Optimization
  • Lead initiatives to improve website performance with a focus on increasing Add-to-Cart % and Conversion Rate %.
  • Partner with the team to optimize the customer journey, implement CRO strategies, and ensure ad dollars are working harder to drive sales.

3. Email Marketing
  • Develop email marketing strategies focused on increasing LTV, repeat purchase rates, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team to create segmented campaigns with measurable impact, continuously improving through performance analysis.

4. Content Strategy & Oversight
  • Guide the content creation process, working with the Content Creator to ensure all materials are optimized for conversions and aligned with brand strategy.
  • Use A/B testing and analytics to refine content strategy and deliver high-performing campaigns.

5. Analytics & Data Management
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across all marketing channels, providing actionable insights to optimize efforts.
  • Implement A/B testing to improve conversion rates for website, email, and paid campaigns.
  • Use data to allocate resources effectively and guide decision-making.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and business priorities.
  • Provide clear communication to leadership on progress toward key results, areas for improvement, and budget adjustments as needed.

7. Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and mentor the Brand Manager, Paid Ads Specialist, and Content Creator, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Set clear expectations and establish measurable goals for team members, based on marketing plans and key results.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth within the marketing team.

8. Strategic Work Plan Development
  • Develop and implement a detailed marketing work plan that includes objectives, key results (OKRs or EOS Rocks), and specific metrics for success across all marketing channels.
  • Work closely with leadership to assess whether current marketing spending, forecasted ROAS, and conversion rates align with growth targets and revenue forecasts. Partner with leadership to provide marketing building blocks into the annual brand forecast.
  • Adjust strategies and budgets as necessary to ensure realistic outcomes and alignment with overall business goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with expertise in website optimization, email marketing, paid ads, and content strategy in consumer product goods.  Need to have B2C experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing work plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Expertise in tools like Google Analytics, ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and email platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience with hands-on execution and detailed knowledge of Meta and Google ad-buying 
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Klaviyo).
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO and CRO strategies.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon).

Base Salary $125,000 - $150,000. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
