Position Summary
The Clinical Manager is a key operational and clinical leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical functions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This individual will lead a team of Registered Nurses and clinical support staff, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement across the practice.
This role requires a collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is deeply committed to advancing care for individuals and families impacted by memory and movement disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations & Team Leadership
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to RNs and clinical administrative staff
- Manage staffing schedules and adjust resources to maintain efficient patient flow
- Foster a positive, accountable, and mission-driven team culture
- Monitor, analyze, and ensure adherence to clinical and operational performance metrics
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and implement process improvements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and patient experience
- Oversee onboarding and training of new clinical staff
- Provide ongoing education, coaching, and professional development for team members
- Ensure staff competency in clinical protocols, systems, and patient engagement standards
- Serve as the clinical lead for Athenahealth (EMR), including optimization and troubleshooting
- Partner with providers to support clinical workflows, documentation, and system utilization
- Lead implementation of new systems, tools, and clinical processes
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of clinical programs and operations
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and access to care
- Support innovation in care delivery for patients with cognitive and movement disorders
- Full-time, on-site position
- Located near the Eastover area of Charlotte, North Carolina

Required:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3+ years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience managing nursing staff
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and alignment with mission-driven work
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to manage change and drive operational excellence
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- High emotional intelligence with demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with EMR systems (Athenahealth preferred)
