Marketing Consultant (Wealth Products)

We are seeking a contract Wealth Product Marketing Consultant to support the development, execution, and activation of advisor-facing marketing materials across our wealth product portfolio. This role partners closely with product, marketing, brand, compliance, and distribution teams to bring clear, compliant, and compelling product stories to life — ensuring materials are not only created, but adopted, understood, and confidently used by advisors.
The consultant will support initiatives spanning strategic frameworks, advisor collateral, web experiences, and cross-functional consultation, following a structured end-to-end marketing process from discovery through enablement.
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with product and marketing stakeholders to support discovery, define scope, and translate business objectives into clear marketing briefs
- Contribute to development of product value propositions, messaging frameworks, and audience-specific storytelling
- Draft and refine advisor-facing messaging, including key benefits, proof points, headlines, and differentiated positioning
- Create and update advisor-facing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, fact sheets, presentations, and web content
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews with marketing, product, distribution, legal, compliance, and stakeholders
- Publish and maintain materials across distribution platforms such as web, Seismic, and advisor playbooks
- Support launch and enablement activities that drive advisor awareness, buy-in, and confidence in using materials
- Capture feedback and insights to inform ongoing optimization of messaging, materials, and enablement approaches
- Experience in product marketing, field marketing, or advisor enablement, preferably within wealth management or financial services
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex product concepts
- Familiarity with compliance-driven marketing environments and approval workflows
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and distribution teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience supporting wealth, retirement, managed accounts, or advisory products
- Familiarity with tools such as Seismic, Workfront, or similar marketing management systems
