This role is mainly onsite and located near the Charlotte Airport. Candidates must be local to Charlotte.

Key Responsibilities:
- Retail and Wholesale Operations:
- Oversee and drive both retail and wholesale operations, ensuring that processes and resources are aligned to support business growth.
- Analyze and develop strategies to grow e-commerce business (currently 20% of revenue) while strengthening the dominant wholesale operations (80% of revenue).
- Evaluate the current sales force structure (Rep Group) and recommend whether to continue with this partnership or build an in-house sales team.
- Team Management & Development:
- Lead, direct, and build out the team, currently consisting of 4 full-time and 1 part-time employees. Focus on scaling the team as the business grows.
- Manage key team members, including:
- Generalist role
- PR/Marketing
- Graphic Designer
- Part-time Graphic Designer
- Fulfillment
- Define roles and responsibilities, ensuring clarity and alignment within the team.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient culture with a focus on results.
- Product Development & Creative Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the creative team on product development to expand and enhance product offerings.
- Work closely with designers to ensure high-quality graphic design work is aligned with brand vision and growth plans.
- Relationship Building & Business Development:
- Continue building/enhancing relationships with existing retail partners to drive sales and expand distribution.
- Cultivate and explore new partnerships, including collaborations with key brands big name retailers.
- Identify and initiate strategic partnerships that align with business growth and brand positioning.
- Market Management & Trade Show Presence:
- Manage market presence in Atlanta and Dallas. Travel twice a year to ensure strong representation and visibility at industry events.
- Oversee the coordination of market-related tasks, ensuring that the team is prepared and effective at the events.
- Fulfillment & Logistics:
- Oversee and optimize fulfillment operations, currently handled by a small team. Work to expand/scale and develop this team as the business grows.
- Ensure that fulfillment processes are efficient, timely, and aligned with high customer expectations.
- Handle logistics responsibilities related to shipping, distribution, and inventory management.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate projections and alignment with company growth.
- Oversee and manage financial tasks including expense reports, budgeting, and financial tracking.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to help scale operations and improve profitability.
- Human Resources & Payroll Management:
- Manage team members’ PTO, payroll, and related HR responsibilities.
- Ensure proper compliance with employment laws and company policies, including payroll accuracy and timely processing.
- Continuous Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements across the business, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Utilize data to analyze business operations and recommend strategies for scaling operations as the business grows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven experience in retail, wholesale, or e-commerce operations management.
- Experience with small-to-mid-sized business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and build teams, including defining roles and developing talent.
- Strong background in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
- Expertise in product development, including collaboration with creative teams.
- Experience with wholesale operations, logistics, fulfillment, and supply chain management.
- Ability to analyze business data and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
- Strong technical skills in MS Office & Shopify; Adept at picking up new systems/platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage and grow relationships both internally and externally.

- Willingness to travel twice a year for trade shows and markets.
Preferences:
- Experience working in a lifestyle, retail, or wholesale business, particularly within the home decor or consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and sales strategies.
- Familiarity with working with third-party sales representatives and in-house sales teams.
