Job Description
Role Overview
The Operations Support Associate supports sales and branch operations by managing data, resolving administrative issues, and ensuring accurate customer contracts, billing, and invoicing.
This role may support multiple business units and is essential for
maintaining proper documentation, payment processing, and customer issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform non-routine tasks to resolve customer issues
- Review, analyze, and cleanse data
- Collaborate with internal and external customers
- Provide on-site support to service centers as needed
- Handle exception reporting for non-compliant purchase orders
- Resolve issues from third-party order processors
- Create orders for quoted jobs or installations in SAP
- Submit invoices through vendor portals
- Assist with standard customer master data workflows
- Maintain a safe work environment and support a high-impact, innovative culture
- Work independently or with supervision as needed
- Execute tasks within Xylem’s Delegation of Authority (DOA) policy

Education & Experience
- Strong ERP skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Familiarity with Field Service or CRM tools (e.g., MS Field Service, MS CRM)
- High school diploma + 2 years relevant experience or
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated capability in similar work
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- Understanding of general business concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Pay Rate $23.00 - $24.50 per hour
