Part Time Accountant

Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant for a 6+ month part-time contract assignment in Atlanta, GA. Work will be onsite approximately 20-25 hours a week with travel to two offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Reviewing and matching up credit card charges;
- Allocation of expenses;
- Creating Vendor and Paid files and maintaining same
- Entering invoices and issuing checks and mailing after signature and approvals
- Making and recording deposits, wire transfers and bank drafts
- Researching invoices, inter-company reconciliations and billing (A/R)
- Maintaining workpapers for each account on the Balance Sheet and selected Income/Expense accounts for multi- entities
- Reconciliation of bank statements
- Entering Journal Entries to record inter-company transactions
- Preparation of Financial Statements to Owners and Tax Accountants
- Responsible for filing 1096/1099s at the end of each year.
- Responsible for office management duties for the home office.
REQUIREMENTS TO INCLUDE:
- Accounting Degree with a work history of at least 7+ years.
- Must be a multi-tasker; self-starter.
- Must be able to handle Confidential matters.
- Having exposure working with a high level of complexity of multiple investment companies and banking relationships, a plus.
- Past history working for Commercial Real Estate companies (excluding residential), Development, partnership accounting is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of QuickBooks software (desktop/online) is a must. (Non-Starter.) As well as Excel, Word.
- Being able to work between 2 locations; i.e., offices in Atlanta – Perimeter & Sandy Springs.
