Job Description
Job Overview/Summary:
The Program and Events Coordinator’s position will manage and coordinate various event and program initiatives. The overarching goals of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Creation and implementation of all networking events for constituents.
- Management of website event calendar, ensuring updates are made timely and accurately.
- Management and oversight of Event and Program registration process, including management of event volunteers.
- Development and Coordination of constituent outreach campaigns utilizing Constant Contact and other marketing mediums and mechanisms.
- Creation and maintenance of constituent databases and sponsorship information.
- Strategizing on and delivery of constituent communication and outreach programs.
- Develop, Manage and Oversee Events and Programs registration process, including all event logistics as well as management of event volunteers.
- Create, Implement, and Manage of all Georgia and Carolinas networking events.
- Coordinate with Staff and Committee members in the planning, execution, production and delivery of quality networking events and marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with Staff and Committee members on development and delivery of committee communications and meeting schedules.
- Create and maintain accurate records and files (hard-copies and electronic) for all event and program registrations.
- Develop, review, edit and update marketing content and collateral on all appropriate communication mediums.
- Conduct research, compile data, create and analyze reports.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Programs Managers on development and implementation of program and event logistics.
- Select, Order and Manage marketing collateral items.
- Other duties and functions as assigned and not limited to this job description.

- Undergraduate degree in business administration or related area preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following fields: events planning, program management, business communications, public relations, small business administration.
- Experience developing, managing, and streamlining programs and processes.
- Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent and tight deadlines.
- Provide outstanding professional customer service.
- Detail oriented and has the ability to be flexible and multitask at all times.
- Ability to offer creative solutions to problems, issues or challenges in an effective manner.
- Self-motivated, timely, and able to work independently and effectively with minimum supervision.
- Exceptional verbal and written professional communication skills including grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access) PROFICIENCY REQUIRED and graphics/publishing software and on-line software including; WordPress, Constant Contact, Social Media applications.
- Excellent communication skills- regularly takes initiative to reach out. Experience in communicating with a broad range of internal and external audiences, key-partners, and constituents.

- Required to have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- May be required to work outside of normal business hours. This includes early morning and evening business functions.
- Required travel throughout Georgia and the Carolinas. Additional travel may include national and regional conferences, activities and events.
- Additional administrative responsibilities (e.g. Minutes from committee meetings and planning sessions), research, surveys, supply orders, and generating reports in Microsoft Office.
