Job Description

Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced Retail Experience Specialist for a 6+ month contract assignment in Plymouth, MN.  This role is hybrid with 3 days in-office per week.

Job Summary:
As an integral part of the Retail Experience Team, this role focuses on implementing and maintaining RE—a merchandising solution aimed at elevating dealership showrooms, enhancing the customer experience, and boosting sales. The position involves close collaboration with dealerships, the sales team, and external vendors to develop custom showroom layouts, optimize backend processes, and streamline onboarding for new dealerships to ensure strong program engagement. Additionally, this role oversees the audit and compliance process to maintain fixtures post-installation, ensuring the solution delivers maximum value to dealers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead Dealer Design Meetings: Represent the Retail Experience Team by leading one-on-one design meetings with dealers to review fixtures, finalize custom layouts, and confirm purchase orders, ensuring alignment with both company and dealer interests.
  • Oversee Audit and Compliance Process: Manage the compliance process by reviewing audit results, preparing materials for the field sales team, and handling all related communications with dealers and field teams.
  • Track Sales Processes: Maintain accurate tracking and records of key sales activities, including order management and invoicing.
  • Streamline Credit Approvals and Invoice Handling: Collaborate to simplify and improve credit approval and invoicing procedures.
  • Support Buy/Sell Processes: Work with the Dealer Development team to manage dealership transitions, such as ownership changes or terminations, and develop processes to handle fixture repossessions and streamline the onboarding of new dealerships.
  • Coordinate Field Sales Communications: Manage various reports and communications to assist with the ongoing rollout and adoption of the RE program.
  • Field Sales and Dealer Support: Serve as a point of contact for the field sales team and dealers, providing timely and effective support to address questions, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless experience with the program.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, with a focus on Sales or Marketing.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, consulting, project management, or analytics.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively lead design meetings, collaborate with dealerships, field sales teams, and external vendors, and professionally represent the company.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple tasks and complex projects efficiently, with strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to handle field sales reports, dealer interactions, and ensure clear messaging across stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: A proactive team player who thrives in dynamic environments and quickly learns new processes.
  • Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage data, analyze complex information, and maintain accurate tracking systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and a process-oriented mindset to identify and address challenges effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Onboarding Experience (Recommended): Completion of 2–3 dealership visits during onboarding to gain firsthand insight into dealer operations and business practices.
Pay Rate- $36.73- $38.73/hour
