Sr Associate, Private Fund Transitions
Job Description
The Private Fund Transitions Team (“PFT”) team supports the Distribution and Client Services teams in onboarding Institutional and High Net Worth clients invested in private products. The Private Fund Transitions Team is critical to the success of the business in several ways including onboarding and offboarding client accounts, while providing comprehensive support across all aspects of private fund lifecycle and serving as a trusted resource critical to building long-term client relationships.
Major Responsibilities:
- Delivers a high-quality client service experience rooted in professionalism, attentiveness, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Assist senior team members with investor onboarding which includes applying Anti-Money Laundering rules and documentation processing.
- Facilitates capital funding coordination, and other fund-related support activities.
- Fosters cross-functional collaboration between key stakeholders such as third-party fund administrators, accounting, legal and compliance to ensure seamless and compliant onboarding experience.
- Facilitates the set up and monitoring of client contractual obligations by maintaining up-to-date records in the designated side letter tracking workflow tool.
- Assists with the accurate entry, updating, and maintenance of client account information in internal systems, following established data handling protocols. Conducts routine data quality checks and escalates discrepancies or anomalies to senior team members for resolution.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7+ years’ experience in financial services or asset management firm, required
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: client servicing, investor onboarding, or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities
- Familiarity in private equity/alternative investments, a plus
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
- Excellent oral and written skills; Strong relationship management skills
- Attention to detail; Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple investor cases in a fast-moving environment
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong team player
Pay Rate $31.09 - $33.09 per hour
