Sr. AR Manager (Remote) - Temp to Perm
Job Description
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, the Sr. AR Manager will focus on process improvement and work directly with the U.S.-based AR team managing billing and collections. S/he will provide daily support to the team, manage month-end and year-end AR close, and assist/support audit requests.Â
This is a fully remote temp-to-perm position.
Role Tasks and responsibilities:
- Review and improve daily workflow of Accounts Receivable Team
- Actively identify, champion and manage process improvement and automation efforts
- Assist with urgent requests from Sales team
- Manage billings related to project milestones for major implementations
- Oversee Accounts Receivable inbox and dispatch urgent inquiries to AR team
- Coordinate collections with International Team Members
- Produce month-end analysis for AR
- Provide requested support for yearly financial audits
- Manage new customer onboarding and changes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4-6 years’ experience in a billing-related or accounts receivable role, ideally in a manufacturing or related industry
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
- Proactive regarding status of monthly deliverables
- Experience with International Documentary Letters of Credit a plus
- Experience with basic contractual agreements, purchase and sales orders
- Experience with e-billing portals such as Legal Tracker (Serengeti), CounselLink, Ariba, Coupa, and Tungsten
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills - Experience with Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Sumif, etc.
- Experience with CRMs a plus
- Prior experience managing direct reports a plus
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to think critically when problems occur
- Able to coordinate tasks between team members
- Proactive when addressing internal and external inquiries
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
