Job Description
This highly visible role is part of the Senior Accounting & Finance Shared Services Team, which supports management and all client locations in various aspects of daily, monthly, and annual accounting & finance functions.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all corporate accounting and finance functions and activities including financial reporting package and analysis for all entities, financial consolidation package for ELT, BOD, and Lenders.
- Manage and complete the month, quarter, and year-end close and assure adherence to US GAAP and complete reconciliations of balance sheet accounts ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Build financial reports with multiple layers of EBITDA.
- Review and prepare monthly financial reports and communicate significant variances on a timely basis, including coordinating adjustments when needed.
- Coordinate periodic financial reviews/audits with outside audit and tax firms as required.
- Provide all necessary information to outside accountants in conjunction with the filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for the business and trusts.
- Develop recommendations and implement improvements to internal controls processes striving to build a more robust Accounting and Finance department.
- Support PE firm on all financial reports and metrics for quarterly and board reports.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for management and PE firm.
- Participate as a strategic business partner on cross-functional teams to help drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Advanced degree and/or CPA preferred.
- 7-10 years of financial accounting experience required.
- Experience in the public accounting space is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing strongly environment preferred.
- 3+ years consolidating financials from multiple ERP systems.
- Must have deep expertise in financial reporting, EBITDA, interpreting credit agreements, and working in a multi-entity private equity.
- Able to manage multiple projects with varying but stringent deadlines.
- Experience implementing Tier 1 ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills required.
- Proficiency with MS Dynamics strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Base Salary $145,000 per year. Bonus eligible with comprehensive benefits package. (Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.)
