Job Description

Our client, a plant-based food and beverage ingredient company, is seeking a Sr. Financial Reporting Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Lake Mary, FL. 

This highly visible role is part of the Senior Accounting & Finance Shared Services Team, which supports management and all client locations in various aspects of daily, monthly, and annual accounting & finance functions.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee all corporate accounting and finance functions and activities including financial reporting package and analysis for all entities, financial consolidation package for ELT, BOD, and Lenders.
  • Manage and complete the month, quarter, and year-end close and assure adherence to US GAAP and complete reconciliations of balance sheet accounts ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
  • Build financial reports with multiple layers of EBITDA.
  • Review and prepare monthly financial reports and communicate significant variances on a timely basis, including coordinating adjustments when needed.
  • Coordinate periodic financial reviews/audits with outside audit and tax firms as required.
  • Provide all necessary information to outside accountants in conjunction with the filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for the business and trusts.
  • Develop recommendations and implement improvements to internal controls processes striving to build a more robust Accounting and Finance department.
  • Support PE firm on all financial reports and metrics for quarterly and board reports.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for management and PE firm.
  • Participate as a strategic business partner on cross-functional teams to help drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance required.
    • Advanced degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of financial accounting experience required.
    • Experience in the public accounting space is strongly preferred.
    • 3-5 years in a manufacturing strongly environment preferred.
  • 3+ years consolidating financials from multiple ERP systems.
  • Must have deep expertise in financial reporting, EBITDA, interpreting credit agreements, and working in a multi-entity private equity. 
  • Able to manage multiple projects with varying but stringent deadlines.
  • Experience implementing Tier 1 ERP systems.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency with MS Dynamics strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Base Salary $145,000 per year. Bonus eligible with comprehensive benefits package. (Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.)
