Job Description


Our client, a large financial services company, is seeking an experienced Sr. Workforce Planning Analyst for a 12+ month contract assignment in Charlotte, NC. This role is fully onsite in North Charlotte, near the University area. 

The HR Workforce Planning job is responsible for reviewing quantitative analysis and predictive modeling for the purpose of analyzing an organization's future workforce needs, implementing a workforce plan and associated talent management strategies, and managing "what if" scenario planning and analysis. As a subject matter expert in workforce planning, this job leads the design and implementation of workforce plans across all functional areas. This job manages larges workforce planning projects and also analyzes trends and opportunities that will be used to build workforce plans.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manages workforce planning data which advises and enables human resources programs and provides the business with important insights.
  • Implements and maintains various status reports and tracking tools.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities to ensure data integrity and drive time/cost efficiencies.
  • Reviews and approves implementation plans for all designed human resources and workforce initiatives.
  • Provides insights and analytics that are used to drive talent management decisions.
  • Oversees workforce databases to ensure data integrity and reviews for trend analysis.
  • Analyzes drivers of significant forecast misses to continuously improve workforce forecasting.
  • Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals and ensures high-quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Provide support to Strategic Workforce Planning Sr. Director to Develop, evaluate and implement, new processes, workflows and systems to support the strategic work, but also the day-to-day business working with different areas across the company
  • Serves as a departmental subject matter expert for workforce planning, budget and forecast
  • Strong financial analytical skills
  • Provide monthly and quarterly trend analyses against established workforce and financial plans.
  • Provide variance analysis for all compensation components (salaries, benefits, variable compensation)
  • Works with HR, Finance and line of business partners during the Workforce Planning cycle to capture and manage information
  • Provide support testing workforce models to forecast future needs and associated costs that are incorporated in our outlooks
  • Provide support for process improvement projects and analytical support to assess and implement strategies to enhance the organizations' ability to provide multi-year workforce forecasts
  • Provide help developing monthly, and ad-hoc reports and presentations to summarize data to different areas in the company
  • Communicate with people at all levels, to gain the voice of the customer, to explain approaches and results.
  • Gather and analyze data, from multiple sources and disparate systems.
  • Workforce planning experience needed
  • Adaptive (Workday Planning Tool) experience preferred

Educational Requirements
  • University Degree Preferred

Work Experience
  • 5+ Years Required
  • 7+ Years Preferred

Pay Rate- $48.73- $50.73
