Talent Acquisition Manager
Recruiting for this is being handled by Corps Team on behalf of our client. This is a full time, direct hire, employee position with excellent benefits. Candidates must be local to the Cape Coral, FL area and able to work on site in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the organization's needs.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and identifies qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions as appropriate.
- Conducts or acquires background and other checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Manages pre-hire, onboarding, new hire orientation and offboarding.
- Provides support and ensures overall operational integrity of the HR department.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Manages performance review process.
- Assists with complex HR issues as the need arises.
- Assists and directs HR Specialist as needed, including performing higher level HR operations tasks.
- Special projects as required.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
- 5+ years in general HR operations preferred.

- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Strong understanding of business processes with the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and deliver requested output timely and accurately.
- Demonstrates appropriate levels of confidentiality.
- Embraces company ethical policies.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
- SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
