Travel Agent
Job Description
Working closely with the Aviation and Travel Departments, this individual will be responsible for assisting company employees with their travel arrangements, both on the company aircraft and commercial air travel to world-wide destinations. Day-to-day functions will include assisting travelers with making and processing air travel reservations, ground travel and hotel arrangements and expense report processing. In addition, assist with Corporate Credit Card program and other projects as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all aspects of booking and processing domestic and international travel arrangements for company employees using Worldspan and other reservation methods
- Coordinate company plane schedules and passengers
- Willing and able to learn basic Concur functions
- Willing and able to learn TRAMS back office functionality
- Willing and able to learn ARC reporting/requirements
- Assist with Corporate Credit Card Program
- Assist Shared Services Team with expense auditing
- Contribute to Aviation/Travel/Treasury teams to ensure that superior results are delivered
- Assists Travel Manager with operating plan, forecasts and miscellaneous projects as assigned
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of Travel Agent experience
- Self-starter
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, presentation and communication skills, detail oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and proven decision making abilities
- Ability to interact with internal travelers and senior management
- Proficient with a GDS system (Galileo strongly preferred)
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of ARC /IATAN regulations for maintaining accredited travel agency, preferred but will train
- Knowledge of Trams accounting system and Concur a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of office tools including Excel, Teams, and Outlook
