VP of Operations
Job Description
This role is working onsite, and relocation will be offered for strong candidates.
Purpose:
To lead the US operations and processes efficiently and effectively while continuously implementing improvements, so that the branch achieves its annual targets. Objectives:
- The budgeted financial result is achieved (target project margins at 38%).
- High degree of internal and external customer satisfaction with both the process and the end result. Quality and efficiency results in customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrable and successful improvements have been made in the execution of the operational processes.
- The Operations Team is competent in knowledge, experience, skills and attitude to carry out the current work.
- Health Safety Environment tasks and procedures are applied.
Responsibilities:
- Achieving all objectives and targets, including the result areas mentioned above.
- Together with the Finance Leader, transform strategy and objectives into an established process plan, tracking annual budget.
- Leading the operations team(s) in an inspiring, effective, and efficient manner.
- Distinguish the primary functions of operations: planning, scheduling, purchasing, controlling, quality, and inventory control.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of project management, business operations, and production/warehousing.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7+ years’ experience successfully overseeing operations, projects and teams on a small and large scale.
- Trade show or exhibit industry preferred, but relatable industry accepted.
- CRM and/or ERP knowledge.
- Experience with vendor management and external partnerships.
- Demonstrated leadership of business functions and operational teams.
