Our client, a fast-growing and innovative Marketing Services firm headquartered in Midtown Atlanta, is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their executive team. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, shaping financial strategy, and supporting the company’s ongoing growth—both domestically and internationally.
This position requires a strong foundation in operational finance, including day-to-day functions like cash flow management, invoicing, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Just as important is the ability to think strategically, model future growth, and contribute to key business decisions.
Recent experience in an agency or professional services environment with a billable-hours revenue model is essential, along with prior leadership of finance and accounting functions at companies with $10M–$50M in annual revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations and partner closely with the CEO and leadership team
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Implement cost controls and monitor profitability across projects
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and manage credit facilities
- Support growth initiatives such as expansion into new markets or service areas
- Develop compensation and bonus structures that align with company goals
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and efficient financial systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting leadership roles.
- Must have recent experience in an agency or professional services environment with a billable-hours revenue model.
- Experience managing finance in a $10M–$50M company environment.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated success in scaling financial operations and systems for growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strategic mindset and a bias for action.
Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
