            <description><![CDATA[Our client, a non-profit organization aimed at advancing women in business, is seeking a Program and Events Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity.<br>
<br>
This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in a major metro area in the Carolinas, including Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Rock Hill, Charleston, Greenville, Columbia, or surrounding metropolitan regions.<br>
<br>
Required travel throughout Georgia and the Carolinas. Travel may include national and regional conferences, chamber, partner activities, and events. Travel may include cost effective driving or flying to assignment destination.&nbsp;<br>
<br>
<strong>Job Overview/Summary:</strong><br>
The Program and Events Coordinatorâs position will manage and coordinate various event and program initiatives. The overarching goals of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
&#9;<li>Creation and implementation of all networking events for the organizationâs constituents.
&#9;<li>Management of the website event calendar, ensuring updates are made timely and accurately.
&#9;<li>Management and oversight of &nbsp;Event and Program registration process, including management of event volunteers.
&#9;<li>Coordination of constituent outreach campaigns with marketing company utilizing and other marketing mediums and mechanisms.
&#9;<li>Creation and maintenance of constituent databases and sponsorship information.
&#9;<li>Strategizing on and delivery of constituent communication and outreach programs.
</ul>

<strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Development, Management and Oversight of &nbsp;Events and Programs registration process, including management of event volunteers.
&#9;<li>Assist in Creation, Implementation and Management of all Georgia and Carolinas networking events. 
&#9;<li>Coordinate with &nbsp;Staff and Committee members in the planning, execution, production and delivery of quality networking events and marketing initiatives. 
&#9;<li>Coordinate with Staff and Committee members on development and delivery of committee communications and meeting schedules.
&#9;<li>Create and maintain accurate records and files (hard-copies and electronic) for all event and program registrations.
&#9;<li>Develop, review, edit and update marketing content and collateral on all appropriate communication mediums with marketing company
&#9;<li>Conduct research, compile data, and create reports.
&#9;<li>Coordinate with the leadership on development and implementation of program and event logistics.
&#9;<li>Select, Order and Manage marketing collateral items.<u> </u>

<strong><u>Education and Experience</u></strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Undergraduate degree in business administration or related area preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following fields: events planning, program management, business communications, public relations, small business administration.
&#9;<li>Experience developing, managing, and streamlining programs and processes.
</ul>

Work is performed in an office and throughout the museum facility and grounds. Traditional 40-hour workweek, with some night and weekend hours as needed. Hybrid work arrangements may be available, but are limited to 1 day/wk.<br>
