Assist in the creation and implementation of automatable marketing materials and manage the process of updating existing materials (on a monthly, quarterly, annually, and/or as needed basis) for mutual fund, closed end fund, ETFs, CITs, UCITS, retail SMAs and institutional SMAs as needed.

Job Summary:
The candidate for this position will be part of the Bank Loan Services group that will be responsible for cash and position reconciliation, research and resolution across a variety of investment vehicles that specialize in the Bank Loan asset class.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Coordinate trade settlement of Primary & Secondary loan closings with external parties (Par & Distressed, LSTA & LMA)
• Maintenance of all bank loan activity (interest rate resets, principal repayments, principal drawdowns, margin changes) in the Bank Loans systems
• Research issues utilizing internal systems, agent notification, publicly available information, and Trustee records.
• Liaison with counterparties, trustees and agent banks in relation to issues and resolve problematic cash discrepancies with Custodians, Trustees, Agent Banks, and/or Seller Banks
• Initiate verbal or written communication to escalate issues.
• Track issue resolution, perform root cause analysis and identify controls gaps.
• Partner with team members to complete internal tasks.
• Document process requirements.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• 2+ years of work experience post-graduation.
• A solid understanding of the broadly syndicated loan market is required.
• Wall Street Office (WSO) knowledge is required.
• Background in accounting / finance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel is required.
• Good verbal, written, & analytical skills.
• Aptitude for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.

JOB PURPOSE

As a premier global investment organization the Bank Loan Team offers a full product line of investment options to both institutional and retail investors. This opportunity with the Bank Loan Oversight and Administration Team will provide support to the portfolio management and investment team covering various reporting areas, trade support and settlement efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Responsible for the production of various scheduled reporting deliverables for internal clients, including, but not limited, to the investment team, reporting team members, legal & compliance.
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure the group provides top-tier service to both internal and external clients and service providers.
• Work in support of the trader to ensure that all trading activity is being efficiently and accurately entered in a timely manner in support of ISSMs products.
• Collectively work with the trade closing team to assist in the coordination and facilitation of settlement efforts. Liaise with traders, trade counter parties and agent banks.
• Support the team to ensure and maintain the data quality and integrity of the critical information that supports the business. Complete data mining, from a variety of internal & external sources, and analysis for Bank Loan clients.

WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

• 2+ years work experience preferred
• Familiarity and experience with bonds and bond settlements is desired
• A solid understanding of the security/loan market (LMA) and fund operations is desired
• Experience in a reporting / product oversight role is plus
• Experience in the investment management space is a plus
